Ruby Wong and Thunder Cops 2

Recently saw subj movie and spotted there absolutely young Ruby Wong as Stephen Chow's girlfriend (she appears in only two scenes). In our database her credits start from 1995 but this movie is from 1989. I watched through the credits and didn't see her name but I'm pretty sure it's her - below is screenshot of her from movie and end titles. Michael? Calros?

Unfortunately you are right. Ruby Wong does not appear in the credits of that film.

The girl of your first photo does not look like "our" photo of Ruby Wong...

Anyway, if any other person (for example, Mr. Ciakmull, who is an specialist in "starlets" cameos) confirm your suggestion, I will add Ruby to this cast.

(I took advantage of your photos to add 10 actors more in the cast.)

Upping my old topic (I was Akirarus then but can't login onto the old account now and nobody can help me :evil:

). So as I see the girl I showed here was identified by someone as Wong Chui-Mei eventually - http://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?i ... ay_set=eng
And now look at the Ruby Wong page - http://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?i ... ay_set=eng
Two other movies of Wong Chui-Mei (Internal Affair and Loving You) are the same as Ruby Wong's first.
Just look at the pictures once more.

Official Bios say that Ruby Wong debuted in "Loving You" (this does not mean necessarily she debuted in this movie), but the name of Ruby does no appear in the original credits. If we can see if the Chinese credits say "introducing Wong Chui-Mei" that would mean that Ruby Wong is Wong Chui-Mei.

Considering all that I wrote above and undeniable similarities between two girls on the photos I have two options

1. Ruby Wong changed her name for Loving You and later movies.
2. Maybe the girl from the photo above is like her older sister? Both are Wong at least.

Calros, what about credits for Loving You and Internal Affairs? Does BOTH of these actresses have their names there? Wong Chui-Mei AND Ruby Wong?

No, It was a city and country in english characters, merged into one word.

At last I found the credits of "Loving You" and "Internal Affair" and Ruby Wong does not appear in the credits. In the first credits, the name of Wong Chui-Mei appears exactly in Ruby's place. That means Wong Chui-Mei is Ruby.

So if nobody stops me in 15 days I will merge them. After 5 years you were right.
