DB Title Update: LOVE IS ELSEWHERE (2008)

Found a bunch of production companies not currently in the DB, plus a credit screen that might contain a missing credit, not sure. All screencaps are also in the gallery for the film:

Our entry for Buddy Film says

"Friendly Film Creation Co. Ltd. (Buddy Film Creative Workshop Ltd.)"

I've only ever seen the Buddy Film part in English on their films (the ones I've seen, of course). Just wondering where the "Friendly Film" part came from? If there's a film out there with it, I might have it and could get a screencap to add it to the gallery, since we apparently still can't add more than one logo to a production company page.

I'm still not convinced the DB entry for this film is as complete as it can be, so here's some more credits:

Writers all have English names, and are billed as such on screen. Entries have been updated accordingly.

I just tried to look this up at HKFA and it appears not to be there at all. Neither are any of Vincent Chui's other feature films, only his short films. Am I just not looking in the right place, or is HKFA really capable of missing a director's entire theatrical output? :?

I think this name was "invented" by some HKDMB editor but I am not sure.

Movies take about 2 years to be in HKFA.

Added makeup, hairdresser and more sound.

Can we remove it? 8)

Longer than that, it seems! Vincent Chui's earlier feature films were in 2001 and 2005, and neither of them are listed at HKFA. I used to wonder whether the HKFA had us beat in many areas, mainly due to the lack of upgrades here over the years, and I still think that's true, but it's good to know we're considerably more current, at least.

If you want to remove any info added by an editor you must open a thread and give some days before remove it.

I think HKFA needs more DB editors.

Will do. ;)

I guess being affiliated with an "official" body like that doesn't exactly guarantee a more complete experience!
