1st. part: added prod. co., plan., 1 prod. man., assist. dir., continuity, 17 actors and 2 roles. I think Cheri Ho and Cherie Ho are the same person.

Seems logical, although I have to work hard to convince myself that the portraits add up:

Lead actress from AFTER THE CRESCENT (uploaded by me), presumably Cherie Ho?


Surely these are all the same woman, and I'm just getting hung up on the wonders of make-up and hairstyle in the 1997 shots??? Or could there really be two Cheri/e Ho's?

My gut feeling is those are two different people. The bone structure of the "After the Crescent" actress doesn't look the same.

The more I think about it, these HAVE to be two different women with coincidentally very similar sounding names. Their Chinese names are quite different, even if they do end up sounding a bit alike (perhaps a pronunciation guide would help?). Plus, there's the Cheri vs. Cherie thing to consider.

I think Cherie ??? should stay in the cast list, while Cheri ??? needs to have this film (at least) removed from her filmography. Considering Cherie ???'s assistant director gigs on two subsequent films—I DO and AMONG THE STARS—(assuming those are accurate), I have to then wonder about the behind-the-scenes jobs (hairstylist, makeup) on Cheri ???'s resume. Perhaps those are connected to the wrong person, but I guess we'll need screen caps some day to know for sure.
