DB Title Update: HEROES IN GAIL (1992)

Credits provide no year of production or copyright, so I'm not certain how we arrived at 1992 for this one, though it seems close based on the look of the film.

We currently have two, possibly three actresses associated with Chui Seung-ha ???.

Agreed, that's the correct Chui Seung-ha in both TATTOO GIRL and PINK PANTHER.

Look like both films share a few cast members.

Interesting fact about this movie. It's clearly shot in Taiwan, as everyone drives left-hand-drive cars on the right side of the road (as in North America), yet it's set in Hong Kong, where everything should, of course, be reversed. Not sure who they thought they'd fool.

Any thoughts on this being the same actress?



I compared the casts of TATTOO GIRL (source of the first two shots) and HEROES IN GAIL (source of the second) and can only find four actors shared between them: Chui Seung-ha, Charlie Cho, Tsai hung and Wong Sai-goon, so perhaps this actress was never given credit in either film? Or perhaps these pictures represent two different actresses who just bear a slight resemblance to one another? May have to dig out TATTOO GIRL again to see if those first two shots above are actually the same character . . .

Actually, scratch that. I'm semi-convinced that they're NOT the same actress. Not sure how this eluded me earlier, but it appears she's Lam Yi-chen:
