I have seen references to this movie--it would make a perfect present for a good friend but I haven't been able to find it for sale anywhere.

It has been shown at a number of festivals and is discussed in scholarly (or at least "serious", if you will) books on Korean cinema.

Might anyone here have a lead on this one?

It's really quite bad, by the way! Vaguely similar to Takashi Miike's FULL METAL YAKUZA, but not nearly as fun.

It's different, that's for sure, but I'd have to agree with Mr. Booth on this one. The lack of subtitles on that disc in no way diminishes it's pretentiousness. One of my more pointless wastes of money, I'm afraid, and largely on the advice of others (who I'm now convinced had NOT seen a lot of Japanese or Korean cyperpunk cinema). And I bought it without ever knowing what the English title was until many many months later.

Send me a PM and I can save you a lot of money...

In case anyone's interested, I think this film is being released subtitled in Region 1 by Image Entertainment on March 20th. It looks like its been retitled KILLING MACHINE and given packaging that makes it look like a spinoff of BATTLE ROYALE or some such. That could be very misleading...

The movie is a bit less than an hour long with about three minutes worth watching.

Its best attribute is the title--things go downhill quickly from there.
