Actually the problem was that HKFA has that Lee Ching Mei in their cast-list for that one

and I found that that Fong Ping this is the only person that resembles the portrait from 1949
So you think the ID in that old picture is not right?

Maybe Fong Ping is Lee Ching Mei? HKFA lists Lee Ching Mei in "Cops and robbers" but not Fong Ping

Sorry, I think I confused you.

I believe Fong Ping and Lee Ching Mei are two separate persons. Images currently correct. No merge necessary.

Here's a clip of her in b/w. Notes says she debuted in 1954, close to our 1953 start.

As far as I recall he was kind of short -
You can tell from his view that he is looking up to someone taller than himself
