Hi, I supposed You are a Venoms fan, but now You choose a great art movie, which earned a cast page for long! Great job and choice!!
ID an tagged Huang Fei (2) http://hkmdb.com/db/movies/image_detail ... ay_set=eng, maybe you remember his role?
I lend my DVD to a chinese friend many years ago and never got it back ever since... :( (He left Germany already shortly after asking for that DVD)

Thanks YangDe-shidi for your thoughtful review on this film! Over the past 20+ years we have had some exceptionally good writers submit reviews (Mike Thomason/WhiteDragon, Libretio, Brian Thibodeau, ewaffle, etc.) - thanks for adding to those. I am going to be deleting many of the site's reviews in the near future, but will leave those that exhibit thought and effort.

Haha, you supposed correctly! I am more of a Venoms fan than anything, so most of my focus does tend to be on them. However, I've always intended to watch other movies aside from theirs (they only have so many, after all!) and I don't plan on limiting myself to just them. I really loved this movie and it makes me excited to see what other films are in store! And thank you, both for the compliment and for the ID! Huang Fei was one of the opera troupe supervisors, so I can add that to the credits. And I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your DVD! :( Always so sad when something like that happens...

I'm glad it was acceptable! I've been having trouble deciding which movies to write reviews for, but this one got me so excited that it was easy writing out my thoughts after seeing it. And I totally understand and support your decision to cull some of the site's current reviews. There have been a few that seemed to lack much of any substance..
