Auditioning on pedestrian bridge at Admiralty as anti-#OccupyCentral.

"RT @lynzeng: Man on bridge called for roads to be reopened so his 3 kids - youngest, 8- can go to school #OccupyCentral #Admiralty"
"Firemen give man on #Admiralty bridge a loudspeaker because he didn't know how to use the one he'd brought with him "
"Apple Daily has reported that man on roof of pedestrian bridge in #Admiralty is a stuntman hired to cause trouble. "
"Negotiatior: mate they've found your profile on the HK Stuntman website, games up #Admiralty #HongKong #OccupyCentral"

5.51pm: He's coming down! The bridge man has finally decided to leave his precarious perch on top of an Admiralty bridge after almost an hour speaking to three negotiators. There's applause from people below as he clambers to safety, after dropping his megaphone on the air mattress below.

He had been standing on the bridge for five hours, demanding an audience with student activists and live coverage from foreign networks.
As he was escorted away by police, the man insisted he only wanted his children to go back to school. He also denied that he was paid by anyone to pull that stunt. "I am only a father of three," he told the press. "I'm neither for nor against [Occupy] ... all I want is that my children can go to school and learn what is true democracy." (scmp)

Seriously? It's been long assumed. As well as his brother Jimmy.

His father, Heung Chin, founded the Sun Yee On in 1919. (wikipedia)

http://www.newrepublic.com/article/poli ... s-in-crime

A 1992 U.S. Senate subcommittee probe into Asian organized crime identified him as an officer of Sun Yee On, one of the triads, the Chinese organized crime groups known for everything from racketeering to loan-sharking to prostitution.

His alleged triad links were also cited by a member of Nevada's Gaming Control Board at a 2007 hearing about an employee of another casino, according to sources familiar with that board investigation.

A former actor, Heung has been candid about his family's links to triads in the past but has staunchly denied personal involvement. He has corporate interests spanning entertainment, tourism, gaming and film production. He has never been convicted of being a triad member.

Long time ago, but wasn't Stephen Chow's (Chiau , back then) connection with Heung's Win's Entertainment cited as reason for him not being granted immigration to Canada pre-1997? The official papers used to be online, but this was back in the 90's.

Found an old discussion here in my old news archive, here:

And then there's Albert Yeung (allegedly, of course) ...

So now I understand why the Heungs do not want a "change"...
