I suspect this is some kind of precursor to the Pandamen TV series the actor is connected with, as one of the (two) Pandamen makes a brief appearance in the trailer at the above link. (apparently, Pandaman is going to be Jay Chou's and China's answer to Spiderman and Batman, but surely they could've picked a somewhat less . . . cuddly looking animal on which to mold a superhero? Oh well, the costume looks cool, anyways . . .)
