It's said that Yuen Lung Kui is one of the brothers of Yuen Wo Ping.

I thought there were only 5 Yuen brothers:

Yuen Wo Ping
Yuen Cheung Yan
Yuen Shun Yi
Yuen Yat Choh
Yuen Chun Yeung

were there 6?

In a interview Yuen Wo Ping stated that he had 10 brothers and sisters!!!!

I did find a site that references Yuen Lung Kui as a Yuen brother as well

back to the original question, the chinese characters for the two listings are different... perhaps they are indeed two different people?

The characters given on databases, and sometimes even on the credits of the film itself, are not always correct!
So I don't think that the difference in characters will answer the question.

The symbol is correct. I am who added the Yuen Lung Kui-assistant action director to the DB today! (in fact I added a lot of assistant action directors to this movie, "King of Beggars").

I was aware of the Yuen Lung Kui-actor, but as the Yuen Lung Kui-AAC was not credited as actor of this movie, and the Yuen Lung Kui-Actor does not have any credit as assistant action director, I took the Solomonic decision of create a new one until I got a credit of Yuen Lung Kui-AAC as actor...

Anyway if you are sure they are the same person, I will merge them.

I started this topic because I'm not sure!
I came to the idea that it could be the same person, because Yuen Cheung Yan is in King of Beggars too.
There's only one thing: I believe that you put (1), (2) aso. behind the names if the are identic. You haven't done that with these.

Now I see both Yuen Lung Kui have worked for Yuen Cheung Yan... It would be very odd Cheung Yan worked with 2 persons with the same name!
