Revenge for Vincent - Another old film - title anyone ?
Posted: Tue Dec 13, 2005 4:25 amOne of the first HK films I saw in a cinema. On the off chance anyone from Sydney saw it - I saw this film at the old (and now sadly gone) Australia Cinema in Goulburn Street in December 1991. It was the support for Tricky Brains, starring Stephen Chow.
The support was a revenge actioner. I clearly recall two scenes.
One is where a guy named Vincent was killed. One of his comrades quivers near an outdoor fire and says "He killed Vincent. I must revenge on him".
The other is the final scene, where a swaggering and uncouth gwailo, a fat American with red(?) hair, fights in an office against the hero and one other villain. The final few frames feature the hero killing the villain by ramming a twisted steel rod between his gizzards.
I've found no trace whatever of this film ever since. Ideas ?
