No classic by a long shot, but a far better picture than that awful, awful, awful English title would suggest. Definitely has nothing to do with that awful, awful, awful U.S. TV show, and it also has no semblance whatsoever to the American TV show DALLAS, despite Kozo's laboured attempt to work it into his review of the film at LoveHKFilm (as in, "Dallas in the palace" ) From what I've gathered, a more accurate translation of the Chinese might be "A Concubine's Smile" (or maybe "A Smiling Concubine"?) which would have been a much more clever English title considering the devious nature of the characters on screen.

Added a credit gallery here, though the DB entry looks fairly complete at this point:

Also added one portrait each of Race Wong and Rosanne Wong. The latter had none prior. Didn't have time to do a proper portrait gallery.

Removed Lee Lik-Chi as writer, he only wrote the original story. Added 2 prod. co., logotized 1, 1 actress and 5 aliases.

Thanks. I also adjusted Alvina Kong's placement in the cast list as she and Cutie Mui have closely related (and identically sized) roles. Their character names, combined (and spoken on screen), are a pop culture reference, as can be seen now in the list. ;)
