Since we've still had no further word on those IFD BluRays and many of my updates were near completion already, I've decided to bite the bullet and proceed with at least some of the them. Well, at least the ones that had just a couple more pics for me to get, especially as some of them have been waiting for many months, maybe even from the beginning of last year (if not earlier in some cases
)
The 1st on the list are actually for some actors that I have already done KUPs for, some of which I'd added some of these credits for but not uploaded pics for. I think I even remarked at the time that I was sure I had some of those films, but they seem to have disappeared as part of "the purge" that I suffered, but lo and behold I found a folder buried deep down somewhere it shouldn't be, that had a bunch of those films in there, so I had some luck for a change.
But I also bought some new DVDs last year that had some of the Korean films I didn't have yet, and as expected, a bunch of the usual suspects showed up again, so some guys have as many as 10 updates to do
It's quite a good haul. There's also one or two corrections I need to make to my previous work, but don't worry there's only a couple and there's plenty of positives to make up for it
Hwang Choon-soo
Firstly we have a few films that his credit had already been added to, but I had not got images for. Returned A Single-Legged Man 2 [1974] was not available at that time, but since then the KOFA has released a wonderful HD version that is available for all to see on YouTube. Yet I couldn't see HCS anywhere, for a while I thought he might just have a cameo but I'm pretty sure it's not him. In fact, there's more than him that is credited on the film itself yet I'm sure they don't appear, so either there is one or more deleted scenes or these are credits only. Very strange.

But somehow, it seemed I'd just misplaced them into an obscure folder. So I can now add the image, though it still took a long time to get some presentable pictures as the quality of the footage is pretty low.

Then we have Kwangdong Viper [1983], where the quality of the footage is arguably worse than Black Dragon, yet I was able to confirm that HCS is part of the mass of warriors in black, as a secondary role. I also changed my mind on Choe Hwa-seop's (3rd overall) role as one of these warriors, it's actually a similar looking actor, but the LQ makes it hard to tell.

The rest are new additions to his list of credits, mostly missed the first time due to the aforementioned misplacing of some of the films, some films like Buddhist Fist & Tiger Claws I thought I'd checked but I hadn't
and I decided to add his pics from the 1986 version of Ninja In The Dragon's Den, as I'd come to a conclusion on that situation a while back, I've just not got around to addressing it yet, I'll make it clear on an upcoming update with more relevance.
