While researching Aloha Little Vampire Story, I searched for any info on the child actors but didn't have much luck. The only exception was with You Shih-chieh. Not only had he already been credited (though not ID'd) on two other films on the database, but I also found a small amount of info online. So I managed to put together a mini bio for him, I also added his date of birth and ID's him in both Spirit Vs Zombi [1988] and Hell Can't Wait [1989].

I also got lucky while looking over Hell Can't Wait, I managed to spot Yu's Aloha Little Vampire Story co-star Li Min-sek plying one of the other kids. Obviously he hadn't been credited or ID'd yet, so I did both.

I wonder if it's same to credit these kids (except Jeong Tae-woo) as being Taiwanese, it seems unlikely they'd be from elsewhere. Thoughts anyone?

The first kid we have here is little Li Min-sek, who I fist discovered when doing my update for Aloha Little Vampire Story, funnily enough, when researching his co-star from that film (You Shih-chieh), I found him in yet another film featuring a vampire kid (Shih-chieh) and now I've found another! Even though he's still not a vamp kid, he gets to pretend to be one this time

And then we have a very interesting case regarding the aforementioned You Shih-chieh, nothing to do with vampires this time, but something I'm very excited to have gotten to the bottom of at last. Ages back I saw this kid and wondered who he was, as he had some decent kicking skills but I was sure he wasn't Korean. But I forgot the name of the film, so when it came to my You Shih-chieh update I didn't make the connection, as I couldn't find the film again, even though it was in the back of my mind. If I had, I'd probably have recognized him straight away and it would've proved the theory that I had back then, that being that Shih-chieh's martial artist father was none other than You Kuo-hua, who he had also worked with on Spirit Vs Zombi [1988]. Here they have a cool little fight scene against each other, a bet that was a fun father and son moment for them.

I have updated name his from Yu to You to match his father. And have linked their respective pages together. Credited them both in Women Are Dangerous [1988] and Queen Of Phoenix [1990], which uses footage from the former. But as a bonus I also added some IDs of his father in Jackie And Bruce To The Rescue [1982], which was a bit tricky as he plays the role of a gangster who disguises himself as a student, but later is playing one of the real students
