A question on 'china arts f.e. video production'

1st I (we) would like to thank the many video manufacturer finally recognizing the old classic movie and bringing them out onto vcd/dvd for us.

one of the earlier company who started to bring out connie chan movie is
'china arts f.e. video production'

The problem is high % of these movie brought out by them contain missing songs, chop scene, disk 2 don't play, etc...

example:
1. love with malaysia girl (non ye chi luan) there is a about 15 second movie chop between vcd 1 vcd 2.

2. diamond thief aka (dou ching miu chak) the whole 1st song 'lovable hk' is gone. I can live with missing lyric from other song in this movie consider it is old but a whole song cut?????

3. the worst!!!!!
mui lan kock juk (about 4 sisters)
there is 2 version of them movie (vcd) the 1st version there 4 out of 5 dance that was cut, hk fans was successful getting their movie replace while usa fans got stuck with it.
how can usa customer who bought their movie in store get the bad copy exchanged???? store keep claiming it is not my fault it is the maufacturer which is bs.?????

the 2nd vcd don't play

5. dick ching (pearl flag) 3 attempt to get the pearl flag
cantonese version randomly keep popping up mandarin audio

all the above is from china arts fe vp it is say this is happening. the question is how can oversea consumer complaint or file request for exchange. store don't honor it especially it took 2+ years to find the proof.

help appreciated

a lot of us are now shaky in further purchasing any movie brought out by
'china arts f.e. video production' anymore.

is anyone out there also feeling ripped off? or in this same situation?
how can we get these bad movie replaced. I can understand old movie but this is too much!!!!

If this is Goddess' Sword 雷電天仙劍, I had the same problem. My Pioneer player wouldn't play disc 2 and I switched to another player, a Sampo, to finish watching it. Disc 2 also wouldn't play in my PC drive when I tried to do screen captures (no Chan Lap Ban!).

I've never found any e-mail contact for China Art or Century Entertainment.


But here's contact info for Winson from their web site. I've e-mailed them a few times but they've never responded.
