I have a question on connie chan's 青春玫瑰

I am hearing talks that this movie originally theatre showing it is in color and when it came out on vcd it is bw

can anyone confirm this?
this movie was brought out by china arts fe video production, I also heard and experience many movie they previously brought out with big problem (missing scene or songs) & the problem if you don't live in hk it is very hard to contact them to ask question you are stuck with bad consumer product and paying big bucks $$$ for them.

The HKFA listing indicates it (The Blossoming Rose) was a color film.

Another, originally color but now b/w on video, is The Spy With My Face, the sequel to the The Black Rose. It's the companion film on Pearl City's box set.

No doubt there are others out there.
