What is this "bachelor" business? Sung's wife (Anita Mui) tells the court that Sung can't be punished because he is still a bachelor. Ho (Ng Man Tat) convinces the elders to take away Sung's bachelorhood.

Does bachelor have a meaning other than what we in the Western world interpret it to be?
