I saw a film starring Barry Chan & Fei Lung on a French DVD and I'm looking for its original titles, its english title(s), its director and its production year.
The French title is LA FUREUR ROUGE DU KUNG FU and it tells the story of some bad guys looking for a huge amount of gold kept by the widow of a casino player. Her son (Barry Chan) is not allowed to play despite his great dice player talent. But when a dice competition is set up at the casino, he cannot resist. Fei Lung plays a secret agent who also enjoys playing dices. His mission is to protect the widow, Barry Chan and find the gold. And of course there's lots of kung fu fighting.
I've tried to search on the web if I could find a title corresponding but I couldn't find any. I've search on some sepcialized websites like Hong Kong Cinemagic, Rare Kung Fu Flicks, etc...
The DVD contains no credits... But the cover indicates production year 1978. Maybe it is the year during which the film has been released in France. Also, this film could be a taiwanese production...
Note that the website vhs-survivors.com contains a VHS cover of the same film, but that all the names indicated on the cover do not fit the film!
