A heads up for anyone interested in any of these movies. Tokyo Shock has bundled the three of them — 7 GRANDMASTERS, Yuen Wo Ping's so-so RED WOLF, and Donnie Yen's LEGEND OF THE WOLF, retitled as NEW BIG BOSS — for the bargain price of $14.99 U.S. for the set!! Each of these used to retail for that much apiece, so this is a pretty good way to get decent editions of these films. I picked mine up in a Best Buy store for $14.99, but Deep Discount DVD has it for a little less with free shipping. Like their sister labels Shriek Show and Guilty Pleasures (all distributed by Media Blasters), Tokyo Shock is known for bundling catalogue product at bargain prices, which is usually when I pick them up!
NEW BIG BOSS is dubbed, unfortunately, but 7 GRANDMASTERS is in Mandarin and English, and RED WOLF is in Cantonese 5.1, English 5.1 and Cantonese 2.0. RED WOLF is also a two disc set with some OK extra features at this price point.
Just thought I'd pass this on in case anyone likes a bargain!
