Hey,

Just curious, I notice your posts have a link to a site that seems to be related to Impact magazine. I have to say, I don't believe it's distributed in Canada anymore, but it's interesting to see it's still active. Are you connected to it somehow? Perhaps they'd have the photos you're looking for?

I used to read impact in its early days and, to be rather blunt, found it to be rather heavy on verbatim press kit "articles" (which I also received as a newspaper entertainment writer) and fanzine reviews. I did, however, appreciate the scant few pages those early issues devoted to HK cinema, even if they were largely opinion pieces and fluffy gossip.

The magazine sure as hell LOOKS a lot better than it did in those early days—what with that "SFX-y" design work—and it seems far more likely to feature HK talent on the cover as opposed to the likes of Gary Daniels and other wannabes of the early years (though, really, Scott Adkins? Come on).

Good luck with the photos. Have you tried screen shots?

yeah but I dont have these dvds, thus I can't take the screenshots.

As for Impact I'm frequent contact with Mike Leeder, who writes for the magazine, I plug the magazine on site, because it is an enjoyable piece of fluff and u get some nice posters :-p

If you can't but it instore, it's avaliable online, they ship worldwide so im sure they'll find you. Here's the link: http://www.impactmoviemagazine.co.uk/index.php
