Island on fire... Wang Yu? Jackie Chan?

Isn't there a movie by the title of "Island on Fire" or Island of Fire, or something along the line, in which Jackie Chan and Wang Yu appeared in? For some reason I couldn't find that in the database. Maybe I totally had the wrong movie in mind.<br><br>

You're not hallucinating, pj. There is such a movie, with that title. It featured an all-star cast, in which Jackie played a small part. I've not seen it, but I think Andy Lau was the star. The translation of the title was Fire Burn Island. I just did a search on this one in big, and I couldn't find it either.<br><br>

I have the film. I was disappointed despite the cast.(It also stars Sammo Hung and Andy Lau) Jackie has a couple of fight scenes. Its a prison film but dont compare it to the Prison on Fire films as it falls way short. I heard that all the great stars agreed to do this film as a favor to someone who protected them from the influences of the Triad society.<br><br>

Well, the fact that this movie had a all-star cast was due Jimmy Wang Yu's saving Jackie Chan's life. Wang Yu had worked with Jackie Chan before, I guess you can he Wang Yu was a Jackie Chan-wannabe. Anyway, somebody wanted to kill Jackie Chan or something but Wang Yu saved him. In return Jackie agreed to appear in Island of Fire.<br><br>Another reason I'm sure this movie existed was I saw the title @ HKMDB many times. I'm not sure exactly where I had seen it here, but I think on Andy Lau's filmgraphy and on the page with the movies of that year.<br><br>
