I didn't mention Charlene Choi in the "Under-rated Actors" thread because she isn't under-rated; she's really not proven herself to be a good actor. But I think she wins first prize in the "Actor With the Most Potential" category. Stop laughing!

It's true that her work has been very uneven; I especially don't like her mugging instead of acting and her complete inability to act like she's crying. Like I said, she has not proven herself. But I've seen times when she's achieved success, such as in Funeral March and Just One Look. There's something in her eyes that makes me think she's more than just a pre-fab teen star. Keep in mind that she's still very young and inexperienced. I think she could surprise a lot of people (ok, vast numbers of people) and become one of HK's leading actors.

Have I been charmed out of my reason, or does anyone else see this?

I think both the Twins have more acting ability than their vehicles so far have usually shown, but I'd say Ah Gil has the greater share of ability between the two.

Of course they're both so charismatic and charming I could be utterly deluded too though :p

They sure as hell can't sing though. I heard a section of a live show they did on a bus in HK, and I really thought they were broadcasting a "worst Karaoke in the world" show or something. When I found out that was Twins I was gobsmacked :p

i agree with you, i think the twins are getting better and will soon make better picture...

Heh heh, the same can be said for Cecilia Cheung. I remember an old live CD of hers, it was awful.

I think Gillian has the more acting potential, but Charlene is just too cute for words.

Yea, i think that they are getting better. The funeral march and just one look were good movies xD

i prefer gillian c.c's characters always seem the same to me!
