At a complete outside guess I would wager Benny Chan's A MOMENT OF ROMANCE (1990) with Andy Lau and Jacklyn Wu (yes, it's official, that's the English name she goes by now...from the frequency I have seen it of late ). That's the only film I can think of that meets all your criteria...
