What's the song the guys sing in MEN SUDDENLY IN BLACK?

Just watched this the other night, and there's a scene where the four guys are driving in their taxi and singing a very heroic-sounding Chinese song (I think it's after they visit Tony Leung Ka-fai's character), sort of reminiscent of A Laugh to the Sea, but I don't think that's it. There's also a tranced-up version of it in the closing credits. I'm absolutely certain I've heard this song before in other films, but I can't place it. Anyone know the name of the piece, as well as who might be singing it over the closing credits?

a version of the title song...

the song title translates to "big husband" in english.
it was written by the famous wong jing.
the end credit has an update of that song by the band eo2.
i heart that song. :D

Thanks for that!

I'm still certain I've heard it somewhere before. Did Wong Jing write it for another film? Of did he adapt the melody from another song? Was it recorded by other pop singers? Just wondering because the moment in the movie seems designed to elicit familiarity, or perhaps an ironic laugh, from the audience.

yeah, that's an older song...

i believe this is an update/remake of an older film with a title song by wong jing. it may be a film that had the same chinese name but a different english name.

Boy, now I'm really intrigued. Didn't realize the film might be a remake.

Hmm, yeah, one Chor Yuen film comes to mind, Wise Wives, Foolish Husbands (1969). In it, Cheung Ching teaches his five buddies, Kenneth Tsang, Stanley Fung, Paul Chu Kong, et al how to cheat on their wives, who include Lydia Shum, Sam Sam and Tina Ti Na. Of course, they get caught and the tables get turned on the guys. Lydia goes into karate fighter mode and kicks butt.

Did a search on yesasia on found the song with the same title on a few CDs. If it's the same song, it looks like a theme song from a TV series.
Maybe someone who can actually read Chinese can provide more info:

Wow. Looks like the song gets around. Here's hoping someone knows what show it comes from.

Thanks for those leads. I saw one of those CDs recently in a Toronto Chinese gift shop and almost bought it on a whim. It was the one with the little rice bowl on the front.
