Hk Film Question

Well, this is one of those dumb ass questions I thought I would EVER post but I'm at a loss.
I have been searching my stack of films for a scene in a period HK martial arts film wherein a woman (dressed in white) is playing the lute and talking to a swordsman. She is playing a slow melodic tune and after a few moments their mood breaks and she starts in with a fast paced tune. Hells Bells - does anyone remember seeing a scene like that?!? I thought the slow tune was hypnotic.

It is very familiar to me. I'm pretty sure it was Bridgitte Lin that was playing the Lute. Try a search for her films and see if any of the reviews spark your memory.

Last night I watched "Secret Services of the Imperial Court" AKA "Police Pool of Blood," and one scene has a woman dressed in white playing a Chinese musical instrument and talking to a swordsman, but it is the swordsman who breaks the mood. So it's probably not what you're looking for, but I just had to let the words out because I was so like, "yeah, I got it!" when I saw the scene last night and thought of your question.
