what hk action flicks were good in 2004? im looking for good ones to buy on dvd. thanks for your help.

New Police Story are in my opinon the best movie done in 2004, its overall best no doubts!

I already have New police story which was awesome, I'm glad JC is back to himself and not hollywood anymore. Also have House of flying daggers which was a great story.

What are some "Matrix style" kung fu/martial arts movies new or old that were good?
I have the returner already.

Most HK action movies have become so bad I've started going back to 70's/80's stuff.

I guess Breaking News/So Close (was this 2004?) & Flying Daggers were ok though.

The only ones I've seen from '04 is Warriors of Heaven and Earth and House of flying daggers. They aren't really Matrix style but pretty good movies with great action scenes. If you're willing to go back a little further, there are a decent amount. Of course these are good movies IMO
