I took a chance with this, surprise to find it was good...
it is like a broadway musical type of show with singing from beginning to the end opera style song but modern clothes instead of costume.

unfortunate it is bw.
it was very surprising such nice movie was made in 1957
leung sing po & tam lan hing was great as usual they play lover. the part where leung went out on a date with tam each chasing each other around the pole that singing was amaizing and cute you don't hear that type of sining anymore. it is sure a classic. they sing very smooth and comfortable to listen (all the stars) not like those songs you hear now a days.


please note the vcd box say it is to be sold in china hk macao singapore only but somehow it came over to the usa and I am happy it did!!!!!

hope part 2 (1958) movie come out soon. hope part 2 is the same 4 cast.
