and probably others I can't recall at the moment mention the Mao Shan branch of Taoism and it is linked with magic involving spirits and demons, etc. so can we assume that most of the ghostbusting monks we see are from Mao Shan?
In fact Spiritual Boxer II (the first example of hopping vampires on film?) is:
