Knetan, thanks for that info on Yuen Cheung Yan. I knew that I had seen him in that same type of character, but couldn't remember which movie.

What is this "bachelor" business? Sung's wife (Anita Mui) tells the court that Sung can't be punished because he is still a bachelor. Ho (Ng Man Tat) convinces the elders to take away Sung's bachelorhood.

Does bachelor have a meaning other than what we in the Western world interpret it to be?
