subject: stay away from this movie....it sucks!

1> movie title: Goddess of Mercy Celebrates Her Birthday At Heung Fa Shan

2> more information can be found at http://us.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/p ... rsion-all/

3> the cast shown on the vcd box selling for $7.99 is great....all the big star is listed but.....

4> my comment is :
a> this film should never have been put onto vcd and selling at such high $.
b> it should be destroyed, burn it , shred it or whatever you can do with it to have it not be seen again.

c> it is NOT a movie, what they did was they took some live opera show filmed it in pieces. the audio is pretty bad, you can't barely understand what it say, throughout the show you will see quick face shot of popular star such as law yim hing, yam kim fai etc... and other scene filmed in backstage of many stars which has nothing to do with the opera that was in the beginning, many of these quick shot of stars are from backstage or what is going on backstage. Toward the end of the show there is a bunch of guys dressed in kung fu clothes performing acrobat. it is no way worth $7+ dollars selling at yesasia.com. the vcd was brought out by china arts f.e. video production who has a high reputation and write up in various message board throughout the internet people complaining about their product. Write up has been seen this company is one of the worst company bringing out vcd because their product contains major missing movie scene and many customer who brought their product was stuck and cannot get feedback or support or exchange. they do not list contact information on their vcd box. Fans of some old classic movie have been sharing information on their favorite star and message has been seen posted commenting on this company.

if anyone out there also experience with vcd problem from those movie brought out by china arts f.e. video production (I think century video is also them too) please join in and talk...we would like to hear all commend, all feedback, everyone out there having problem with movies brought out by them.

the problem is hk consumer have claim they had successful in getting refund and product exchange when they contact china arts fe vp but it is the oversea consumer who have this problem. many stores do not exchange or give refund unless the disk don't play. they use the excuse 'it is the manufacturer not us' to bypass the problem which is terrible.
