6am, WHAt happened at the end, please tell me

so i couldnt see the ending!!
The last part is the 2 main characters who are about to complete there mission to attack the head boss of another group, i see them just starting to get beat up by the big bad boss then it skps to the end, can someone tell me what happened there please!!
