I just finished watching the HK version of this film and it abruptly ends with Michelle Yeoh turning her head. Apparently, there is an alt. ending for the movie. If anyone has seen it, can you please tell me what happens?

The closest I've come to finding what happens is this:

"Only Taiwanese 35mm and video editions retain this bit which, for spoiler sake, will not be elaborated on here. While not very well staged, it does change the fates of two main characters, and the movie ends in a smoother and more satisfying fashion with the footage included."

Tough to explain the alternate ending without providing a massive spoiler for those who haven't seen it who might happen to read this thread.

I believe both the Taiwan import, which is getting harder to find, and the American Tai Seng "Special Edition" feature the alternate ending.
