....and noticed that Amazon has a whole bunch of Hong Kong movies through their Unbox service. These seem to only be available to U.S. based PC customers right now (rules me out on both counts!
), unless international Amazons have similar features. I've heard very mixed things about this feature, but I don't recall any of it relating to the transmission of the films. I think it had more to do with contractual obligations and stuff that may have been changed since then, but still, approach with caution.
Most of the better titles are via Fox/Fortune Star with the rest provided by far too many lesser known U.S. PD companies. Most of the Fortune Stars are fairly well known, but if you're already a user, or new to HK cinema, there's a few gems in there that might be worth a shot, at least at the rental price of $1.99 - $3.99.
