It was just the publicity campaign, as it was well-known beforehand that Ekin was playing two roles -- the whole "twin" ideology was part of the marketting campaign.

I was definitely influenced by that image on the back of the DVD case.

As I was watching the film, I kept thinking that some twist to the story was going to be that there were TWO Charlene's, which would have explained the swing in the character from being super-cool to being as dumb as a wall.

I would not be surprised if some early draft of the script had this element.

I liked this film quite a bit.

So did I! I don't mind saying that I loved it and thought it was greatly entertaining -- but that's my bias, I love the Pangs and Charlene (as well as still harbour a lot of time for Ekin) so it was always going to be a win-win equation for me.
