title of 70s swordswoman film?

This was probably the first subtitled Chinese movie I saw, at the Shaw Bros theatre in Vancouver's Chinatown, so before 1974. The heroine was the only survivor of her clan, being rescued from the massacre by a loyal soldier. She's raised by martial arts masters and goes off to seek vengeance. Details: her name was Ying-ying; when the soldier fell dead after bringing her to safety, he had so many weapons stuck in him that he clanged; when she sets off, she meets monks who ask her what she learned from her master and she leaps up onto a tiny branch of a tree; someone's head gets delivered in a box, perhaps to the lord who ordered the massacre. Anybody have a guess?

batgirl
