I don't know why Mr. Chiba is credited with his english name, instead "Shin'ichi Chiba".

BTW, in the Database, he appears as "Chiba SINICHI", and if you search him as "Shinichi Chiba" or "Chiba Shinichi" (with the H) the Search Engine says that man does not exist...

Why do you do this with him, and not with his pupil "Hiroyuki Sanada"? He appears correctly in the database, although ALWAYS has been credited in HK as "Henry Sanada"

I pretty much agree, I think :p Certainly "Sonny Chiba Shinichi" doesn't look right - even though it's the same convention we generally use for Chinese names, I've never seen a Japanese name written that way, it's generally an either-or thing.

The name order is definitely an issue, since Japanese names can comfortably be written or spoken either way. Seems excessive to add both orders as aliases though...

Anyway, for now I've just corrected the SINICHI to SHINICHI
