Trained from birth as a swordswoman, Lin Jen Chih (known bythe mole on her neck) lives only to avenge the murder of the father she never knew, and another tough swordfighting gal is there to help. Huang Pao, an ugly fellow with a big purple tumor on his face, has joined forces with Yu Lin (aka The Poisonous Lady), a master with whips (though it's a bit strange that her adversaries never think of cutting her whip to ribbons before they get flayed to death). She's secretly after Pao's Magic Book, the key to his sorcery and almost unlimited power. To complicate things even more, Pao is the murderer, and Yu Lin seems to have, er...certain unmentionable feelings for Jen. And a short temper; the scene where she propositions Jen at a banquet is priceless. The movie goes out of its way to be colorful, and when the old master unleashes his magic -- including multicolored smoke, rings of fire, and a big green snake -- it seems the girls have no hope. As Huang Pao and his officers plan to exterminate the patriots, cute Yu Lin switches sides (no, she's still a lesbian) to save Jen's life; in return, Jen has to listen to long speeches from assorted gals with swords sticking through their hearts. The plot's so sluggish that the myriad of okay fight scenes don't quite compensate.
