Reviewed by: Tonic Date: 12/23/2007 Any ideas why this film is called Porky's Meatballs? I can only think this film was named so because of 'Porkys' or 'Porkys Revenge'. There certainly aren't any meatballs in this film. A pretty decent comedy, VERY 80s.

Reviewed by: happygolucky76 Date: 06/09/2002 Summary: Funny.... This high school comedy was one of those movies that made you laugh, but also think what the hell is wrong with these kids!?! The basic premise of this movie is a class of slackers are in their final year of high school (college in most other countries) and the boys and girls play pranks on each other and one prank goes to far and the school's controller? owner/head of board of directors (also one of the boy's rich father) says he will replace the bubbly and idiotic principal with a new military-type staff. Well the new strictness of at school makes everyone unhappy and failing school right and left. The class reunites to cheat together to pass and get back at their cruel teachers and principal with the help of their former princpal turned teacher. The pranks are pretty hilarious and makes you think how can these kids get away with these pranks without getting into serious trouble. Also on the other side how could the new princpal and staff can be so cruel without somehow killing some of the kids and finally alerting the police. All in all, if you always thought your school was bad this movie will show you a school can be worse, but fun at the same time. 4 stars/ 5
