Summary: Bad Movie

Yes - I did read the reviews but purchased the VCD anyway. What a waste of time.
PJShimmer's review (although brief) was on the mark. Acting too silly, jokes too lame, subtitles too difficult to read, quality of VCD too poor -
I also gave up 3/4 of the way through. Maybe one day I will finish it - but there are better HK films to see right now.

Summary: So-So...good ending though!

This movie is similiar in cast and sets to "Vampire Settle on Police Camp". Sandra Ng and the gang are assigned to a camp to train for a secret mission. After fooling around w/ an Ouiji board they unleash a ghost hellbent on killing them all. While most of it is lame comedy sketches it finally builds up to a pretty good climax. Yuen King is the ghost and a good choice for the part. Had she had more screen time the movie would've fared better. Still, I really enjoyed her in the final reel. She's been so good in the Stephen Chow films but this early role for her is a nice change of character. Worth a look if you like her.

not exactly a good or bad film - just plain odd. One look and I gave up. Not recommended.
