Reviewed by: ksbutterbox Date: 04/24/2002 Summary: Special FX...every few seconds.... The Special FX every few seconds make this a fun(and a semi-low) budget fantasy romp!!(at least visually..) The ("Hopping Vampires"!) show up admidst all the other "Black Magic" pulp that's in this movie. Plus, Cheung Man looks great and flies around with superpowers etc..Turn off the brain and relax..it's really a comedy..dated, but good ol' HK stuff.

Reviewed by: STSH Date: 02/27/2000 Summary: Patchy wuxia comedy This is open-mouth comedy, where subtlety don't belong. And there's a fair whack of toilet humour, quite literally. I found much of the first half more irritating than funny, though the second half was reasonably good farce. Loads of fairly good special effects. I particularly liked the words of the buddha chant which circled the demon near the end. Of course, the two female Man's (Cheung and Chik King) are a joy to behold, whilst Billy Lau works harder than anyone else for laughs. Overall : Annoyingly uneven, but the good bits eventually outweigh the trash. Reviewer Score: 6
