Summary: Oddball and so-so

The plot summary only covers about half the story. Sounds wild and wacky ? Well, the result is patchy. The style and tone shift haphazardly from open-mouthed comedy to gore to soft-core sex (but not full frontal) to ripping off every American teen horror film ever made.

There are moments of true weirdness. For instance, Gwai Chung gets a walk-on part (really a stand-around part) where he gets to watch the three teenage girls dressing and discussing their hot group date. Why he's there, and why they aren't perturbed by his actions, is never explained.

Lam Ching Ying appears about half-way through, with basically no intro or reason, and this is just another of the clunky and odd progressions.

However, I did find the film watchable and even quite involving most of the time, especially near the end.

Overall, rather a mess, but something different.
