Unoriginal as the plot may sound, the movie TRAIN ROBBERS flows along quite merrily, if in a low-key fashion. Ray Lui plays a Mainland Chinese cop who investigates a series of violent gang raids (and rapes) on the Trans-Siberian railway. The film takes time to get started, and as the trail of the robbers leads to Moscow, you may ask yourself if a movie of just over ninety minutes in length really needs twenty(!) main characters. There is some confusion, plot-and otherwise, but the last half hour is one long, exiting action scene with lots of stunt work, some of it admittedly badly timed. You may not actually seek this one out, but if it comes your way, take a look.
