The Last Duel

Summary: Surreal and so-so

Yet another swordplay film filled with flying people and weird characters and an almost impenetrable plot. "Last Duel" would fit comfortably into the same sub-genre as Shaolin Kung Fu Mystagogue and Magnificent Bodyguards, though it's not as good.
For the first half, the story makes absolutely no sense, and appears more like a series of odd events happening to the main char, Lu Shao Fung. But things get a bit scary (apart from repeated playings of THAT riff from the movie Psycho) when the story begins to clarify, about 2/3 of the way through. Without spoiling the detail, it involves a dastardly villain hatching a plot to gain control of ...... well, you'll just have to watch it ;)
Overall, I'd say watch SKFM or MB first, but Last Duel is not too bad.
