Biography
 
  After graduation, Wang Hsieh started his career acting in movies in the native Taiwanese language. In 1959, he made a switch to making Mandarin movies, with a major role in the Golden Era at the recomendation of director Pan Lei. Wang moved to Hong Kong in 1965 to sign up with Shaw Brothers (...). In 1977, Wang moved back to Taiwan where he worked on movies, and several TV programs, before retiring. Trivia: His son Dave Wang Chieh, is also an actor and a singer.
