Biography
 
  Lin is an actor and descendant of Zhongshan, Guangdong. As a student of the first actor's training class co-organized by TVB and Shaw Brothers, he joined Shaw Brothers as a basic actor after graduation. His theatrical debut was Li Han-Hsiang's "The Warlord", followed by subsequent films including "Illicit Desire". He won critical acclaim in the Cheng Kang-directed "Kidnap". Kuei Chi-Hung was Lin's other frequent collaborator. Renowned for his supporting roles in the thriller and erotic genres, one of the highlights of Lin's career was when he starred with award-winning actress Li Ching in director Shin Sang-okk's film "The Ghost Lovers".
