Biography |

| Fok was born in Hong Kong in 1960.
He studied graphic design at Hong Kong Polytechnic Institute.
He started his part-time scriptwriting careeer in TVB when he was 15 years old. Three years later, he became a director and produced various renowned TV drama series, such as "Over the Rainbow", "The Bund" starring Chow Yun-Fat, and "Don't Look Now". He turned down TVB's offer to promote him to producer and turned to the film industry. He made his film debut "The Man from Vietnam" in 1980 and his talent got appreciation. Many production companies tried to enlist his services and he became the creative director of Johnny Mak's film Company where he directed "The Iceman Cometh". His film "The Dragon From Russia" was the first HK movie to shoot in Moscow. |
