| | Joe Lewis is hailed as one of the greatest karatekas in the United States. Starting as a contact-point fighter, Lewis was one of only five men to defeat Chuck Norris in competition. He coined the phrase "American kickboxing" and would become a champion kickboxer in the 1970's. |
