Summary: Pretty good cop-buddy comedy
I had a sinking feeling at the start of this film. The antics of the two stars (who also directed) seemed to have no relevance to the plot, and this is really irritating …. for awhile. But things pick up quite nicely by the half-way mark, and turn into a fairly enjoyable comedy/cop-buddy flick. Jeff Falcon, as the gwailo boss, goes around kicking the stuffing out of everything that moves, and has the wildest Cantonese accent I've heard in a long time (of course, I'm just jealous !).
Warning : serious fans of Amy Yip may find her three very brief appearances unsatisfying.
