Bruce and Shaolin Kung Fu 2 predictably picks up right where the first one left off, and no surprise, Lee Ching Lung (Bruce Le) has survived the dishonorable attempt on his life by the Japanese and is recovering with the help of a poor farmer. The Japanese general (Bae Su-Cheon) learns this and is determined to kill everyone in the way of disposing of Lee. This time he has the head samurai trainer (Kong Do) and a bevy of dastardly minions to do the deed. As expected, Lee is up to any challenge after learning the secrets of Tae Kwon Do from yet another hermit master and his attractive daughters. There's not much that can be said for this or any other Bruce Lee spawned film. Bruce Le sheds his shirt every time he has a chance and goes through the Lee-inspired gyrations that are expected of him. He is taught the value of kung fu as a fighting art that should be used for good only, but in the end kills as haphazardly as anyone else. The Japanese are seen as cowardly and dishonorable as ever, with the General acting like a complete lunatic in order to draw Ching Lung into a fight. Overall, a pathetic South Korean collaboration that should not waste anyone's time. 2/10 Reviewer Score: 2
