Summary: ABSOLUTE CLASSIC!!!!!!

undoubtedly one of the best kung fu films ever made(that said any films that Lee Yi Min has made often end up being my favourite films,he rules!).Totally overlooked, the action choreography by Sun Shao Pei is unrivalled(Sun Shao Pei was actually a classmate of Lee Yi Min's while they were studying Taiwanese Opera at the Fu Shing opera school, where Chiang Sheng,Chang Yi,James Tien,Pang Gang,Chin Lung,Angela Mao and many others also trained.).obviously,the end fight is the show stealer.Lee Yi Min and Sun Jung Chi engage in a 10-12 minute or so duel, which involves much acrobatics and super intense handwork. The choreogarphy is crisp and clean, and fast too. So,in simple terms,do yourself a favour and get this film.Excellent training scenes, wicked music and swift direction make this a must have!!!!oh,and the Butterfly 18(the films title),refers to the Butterfly style that Lee Yi Min uses in the film.Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
